10 months old!

Jesse you are ten months old, today! 

Funny how I thought Asher was SO old when he hit 10 months and I still see you as my ‘little’ baby.  :)  Despite my best efforts to keep you little you are growing up before our very eyes! 

 

 

You are sweet, smiley, and happy!  Everywhere we go people love to talk to you and smile at you.  You are more than happy to smile back and wiggle with your whole body in excitement.

You are into everything!  You still army crawl/scootch – but you also CRAWL (like for real crawl).  If I put you up on all fours you’ll crawl away, but out of habit you often slip back into army crawling.  I’m glad that I know you CAN crawl, even if you don’t always do it. 

You like to EAT!  Your daddy and I joked that there is not ONE food you’ve refused to eat.  You truly have happily eaten everything we’ve put in front of you!  You love finger foods and I’m trying to give you more and more of them lately. 

You are a pretty good sleeper!  Lately you’ve been waking up at night again; but you’re teething so I hope once your new tooth pops through you’ll go back to your great sleeping habits.  You still nap twice a day, but if we’re busy during the morning you can stretch until your afternoon nap.

You love to make noise babbling, screeching, and blowing raspberries.  You are still saying Mama and Dada and lots of other sounds, just no other words yet. 

You love to stand!!  You’ll pull up on anything these days.  Keeping you from pulling things over and falling is a full-time job.  You are starting to cruise and are getting steadier on your feet every day. 

  

You are wearing some 6-12 month and some 12 month clothes.  You are wearing size 4 diapers and you have four (adorable) teeth!

You LOVE your brother.  Asher makes you smile and laugh like no one else.  When I think he’s being too rough with you is usually when he’s getting the biggest laughs… what do I know!?

Jesse it’s hard to believe we’re so close to your first birthday.  These months are flying by; they are some of the busiest of my life – but also the best.  When I’m sitting holding you and Asher in my lap I know I am one blessed mama!
