Jesse you are 14 months old!!
Every day you are either learning something new or mastering something you already knew. It’s such a fun stage to see you learning more, doing more, interacting more… :)
You talk, but I’m also noticing you understand way more than you say. You know words for things even if you can’t say them yet. A favorite word to say lately is ball. We have lots of them throughout our house and playroom and you love to find them, roll them, and throw them. You’re ALL boy!
You are increasingly aware of Daisy. You love to say her name and pet her and hug her. Watching you wrap your little arms around her neck and then lay your head down on her is quite possible THE MOST precious thing we’ve ever seen. The other day you were doing it over and over as Daisy patiently sat there. Daddy and I melted each time.
Your favorite “game” is chucking your sippy cup off your high chair and then straining over the side to see it simultaneously saying, “Uh-Oh” over and over. It’s a “game” that never seems to get old to you, though it was old to us after the second time you did it. :) Your brother used to play this “game” when he was little and thankfully he outgrew it so it’s a good reminder that “this too shall pass.”
You are such a steady walker and have recently taken off, almost running. When Daddy gets home from work you stop what you’re doing and run to see him.
Jesse, right now you are getting your molars and have been in so much pain. It’s hard to see you so sad and feel so helpless! Here’s hoping those teeth will just pop through quickly! I’m not sure, but I’m thinking that’s why you have been struggling so much with nursery. Here’s also hoping you start to get the hang of going on Sundays and Thursdays while I’m at MOPS.
Jesse, we love your toothy grin, your sweet hugs, your infectious laugh and even your naughty uh-oh’s! Happy 14 months precious boy!
