We had the cutest lion and tiger this past Halloween! Nana and Papa Jasper were here visiting the day before Halloween and got a preview of the cute costumes.
After our traditional dinner of a pumpkin pizza from Papa Murphy’s we headed out the door. Both boys trick or treated down our street and then we all went home to add layers (it was COLD) before Asher and I headed back out for more trick or treating.
He was totally into it this year and had SO MUCH FUN. We made it up and down three streets before he was ready to call it a night. Then the real fun of passing out candy began. Every time the door bell rang Asher, Jesse, and Daisy ran to the door (if they weren’t already standing there watching) so they could hand out candy and see the other kids. I honestly think passing out candy was their favorite part of the whole night (aside from eating candy, of course!)
(Waiting for the kids to come… love Jesse’s smooshed nose!)
I have to say that I strongly dislike everything “dark” about Halloween… but I sure do love a night of walking around the neighborhood and the friendliness of all our neighbors. I love the fun of seeing our kids dressed up and their excitement at receiving a bucket-full of candy! :)
