7 months old!

Jesse, it’s hard to believe, but you are 7 months old!!

You are getting so big and ‘grown up’ that I’m really wondering where the days and months have gone!!

On the unofficial church nursery scale you were 20 lbs.  I believe it!  You are a big boy!  You’re wearing size 4 diapers and size 6-12 or size 9 mo. clothes.  In pants you’re wearing some size 12 mo. for length!

You are on the move!  You are rolling and army crawling/scootching ALL over the place.  Of course you will pass ten of your toys to get one of Asher’s toy any day.  :)  You especially love his trains and train tracks.  Asher is really good about taking away the toy you shouldn’t be chewing on, and getting you something you can chew on…

Which leads me to the fact that I think you must be teething again.  You have two cute teeth on the bottom, and we’re waiting to see if a few are going to pop through on the top.  Your are constantly putting your fingers (or anything else you can reach) in your mouth!  And you are drooling like crazy! 

Jesse, I think you are going to be a people-person!  You are very sweet and smiley.  You really love to be held and around people so… when we can’t hold you at that exact moment you get pretty fussy.  You are getting better everyday at playing by yourself for short periods of time.  You also LOVE your jumperoo, especially if you can watch Asher play while you jump. 

Jesse you eat twice a day at breakfast and dinner and nurse about 5 times a day and then once (sometimes twice) at night.  You haven’t met a food you didn’t like yet!  You eat pears, peaches, apples, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, avocado, and oatmeal.  I’ve tried giving you puffs broken into smaller pieces.  You seem to like them, but have  a hard time picking them up and eating them when they are so small.  I think you’ll get the hang of it when I leave them whole.  :)  In the meantime I just feed them to you.

Jesse, we love you so much!  Asher loves that everyday you are interacting with him more and more.  Daddy and I love your sweet smiles and cuddles.  We also love to watch you getting bigger and investigating the world around you. 

Time sure is flying, and we ARE having fun! :)
