Yesterday Asher and I went to the Indianapolis Kids Consignment Sale and we found some deals!! :) I’m glad we went the first day because for the racks and racks and racks of things pink and frilly there were only TWO racks of things blue! I did laugh at all the many rows of girl clothes and the two measly rows of boy things. Such is life. On top of that there were two tables for boy shoes and literally shelves upon shelves for the girl shoes, but that part didn’t surprise me! A girl’s gotta have her shoes!
So here was what we scored at the sale…
I was pretty picky and went for the good stuff and was happy to walk away with an Old Navy jacket and swim trunks, a pair Calvin Klein Jeans, a Ralph Lauren Polo, and Children’s Place shorts! (All for under $30!)
I was so excited about the sweater vest find! I’ve seen these all over the place and wanted to get one for Asher, but just couldn’t justify store prices considering he’ll wear it for Easter and maybe a few other times to church if we’re lucky. I had already gotten him a dress shirt at Old Navy and I think it’s a perfect match!
I tried not to go overboard since my sister is still sending my nephews’ hand-me-downs in April. :) But I just couldn’t resist a few things! And speaking of hand-me-downs here is a comparison shot of Asher in his jammies that came from his cousins Benjamin and Jasper…
And here’s a picture of Benjamin (with Linnea) in the same jammies. :)
those clothes look way too big! How can it be??
