Ever since Asher was born he has had REALLY long hair on the sides of his head. Often they stick out like wings. When he was a teeny baby I threatened to cut them off almost daily, but Chris thought he was too little for his first hair cut. :) Well, now that his hair is really getting long the wings have continued to grow… and grow… and grow.

Well, even Chris agreed it was time for a little trim! So, today… I turned into that mom. You know, the mom who thinks she can cut her kid’s hair? :) I didn’t give him a bowl-cut though! So it could be worse.

One side is definitely better than the other, but it’s hair – it will grow. :) He held still for about 5 minutes (Thank you, Nick Jr.) so I had to be fast! With his new less-than-perfect trim I think he looks so much more like a little boy than a baby, but just as cute!

Good job Mommy! I did Graham's first little trim as well when he turned 13 months. Now he's ready for the real deal I think! Asher looks mighty handsome with his new do. =)
