Baby, it’s HOT outside!!

We’ve been trying to get all the moms and kids from our small group to the zoo all summer!  Coordinating schedules and finding a nice day has been hard so when we picked today we weren’t ready to cancel (again) even with forecasted temps in the middle to upper 90’s.  We did decide to arrive early and enjoy as much as we could before lunch. 

We started in “Africa” and then went straight for the Dolphin show.  The air conditioned amphitheatre was heavenly!  ;)  And, Asher LOVED the dolphins.  The show was great and had fun dance music so he had a ball.  After that we went back to Africa to see the Cheetahs and then went for lunch (again in AC, Praise the Lord!)  We finished up with the ocean animals and called it a day.  Sorry, forest animals – we’ll come back and see you another day!  I’m thankful for these ladies and their girls and a FUN day despite the heat.  :)
