We have enjoyed a wonderful summer as a family and though the temperatures outside still feel like summer… our summer is OVER! ;) Chris went back to work today, and so did I! ha! It was my first time in a long time flying solo and as much as we missed Chris it felt good to (kind of) get back in a routine. I can’t tell you how nice it’s been to co-parent all day, almost every day for the past several weeks. A true blessing.
I am thankful that my job is still here at home with Asher and that I’m not preparing for a busy school year. Another TRUE blessing. I’m still looking for something I can do ‘on the side’ here a home and praying that the Lord might bring the right opportunity my way. Here are some fun and random pictures of the past few days…
Wrestling with daddy before he heads back to work.
All packed up and ready to get out of the house so the realtors could come through… Daisy is always excited to come along!
I’ve decided the worst part about moving is to perpetually be keeping a clean house (but the best part is to be perpetually living in a clean house!)
Asher’s shirt says, “Give PEAS a chance” so I couldn’t resist taking some pictures of him eating his peas with lunch. The kid loves peas! :)
Asher got his second ‘real’ haircut and this time she used the clippers. It is much shorter and he looks SO much more like a little boy. Sometimes I just stop and look at him and think, “Where is my baby!?” I can’t believe how grown up he looks and acts these days!
I sure do love this little boy!
Jack loves peas too!!!
