Okay, the title is for all of you who like the Sandra Boynton books! :) Asher is really into animal sounds right now. We’ve been saying, “Ruff Ruff Ruff” for weeks now, but he’s recently added “Moo” and “Roar.” He’s attempting “Quack Quack” and “Cluck Cluck,” but those are hard! ;)
Yesterday I was in line at the post office and he was obviously trying to impress the woman in line behind us because he kept saying “Ruff Ruff, Roar, Moo” (over and over) and then waving. I kept trying to shift him or turn him around, but he was persistent. She was a little too preoccupied with her own kids to notice him or give him the positive feedback he was looking for! I was cracking up though!
Every time I try to get him to say his animal sounds on video he is off and running so I thought I’d try today when I had him contained. Eating lunch makes it a little bit hard to enunciate, but you get the general idea. And can you guess which sound is his favorite?
And we also got in our body parts. I promise, he knows his nose! ;)
Oh my WORD is he just too cute for words! If only I could get Josher to pay attention long enough to do animal sounds! I will say one thing, the kid knows where his belly button (be-bo) is, and he can point at someone else's nose! :) We're getting there...
ReplyDeleteOh, and we just discovered Big Bang Theory last season! We love it too! Miss you!
LOVE the videos! Asher always brings a smile to my face. It's fun to hear him talking. Congrats on being an aunt again :) I enjoyed watching him point at his eye!!! Love you friend
ReplyDeleteThanks, friends! How are we going to get all three of our boys together to play? I mean, before they are all at Taylor together in about 17 years. :) Thankful for the internet... it's fun to 'watch' each other's kids grow up!
