wonderFULL weekend & Zoo Boo!

We had a great weekend full of fun and yummy food!  Chris had his first ever Boss’s day on Friday so he came home with plates and plates and plates of cookies, brownies, and bread.  In addition, he had been given lots of gift cards so we decided to head out to eat! 

Saturday was feeling an awful lot like Fall (finally) so we braved the Indianapolis Zoo’s ZOO BOO (along with the rest of Indianapolis).  I think we should have just turned around when we saw the parking lot completely FULL.  It was crazy, but we think Asher had fun.  He was definitely the cutest cheeseburger there!

Unfortunately we forgot our camera at ZOO BOO so the iPhone pics will have to do.

On our way home we spotted this van parked in a hotel parking lot here in Carmel so we swung in to check it out.  We both wanted our picture taken with it!  :)

 
Considering my dad’s nickname is GOP Joe I think I come by it honestly.  :)

We used another gift card and had a yummy dinner at Red Robin – one of my favorite places!!

Sunday we ran errands during our house showing.  Still praying for the right buyer to come our way (soon?!?!)  All the hard work of cleaning your house for other people to look at it sure feels good when you come home to a spotless home.  Though, it doesn’t take long for toys and books to be strewn everywhere again.  ;) 

…. and even though this next one wasn’t over the weekend I’ll squeeze it in…

Monday morning I met friends at the park.  We have a big, new, beautiful park in our town that people just must not know about (yet) because every time we go we have the place to ourselves.  It was fun to let the kids play and let us moms talk.

It was a busy weekend, and lots of fun!
