It’s finally snowing outside!! Just a dusting, but we’ll take it! It was so fun to take Asher to his bedroom window this morning and let him see the fluffy white stuff. As soon as we were out in the play room he was glued to the window checking it out. I couldn’t help but think of a similar shot I took last year on a snowy day! Of course his faithful sidekick is with him in both pictures! ;)
We both decided for the first snowy day of the winter that pancakes were in order for breakfast!
I can’t help but be thankful that on this cold morning with slick roads I’m happily tucked at home with my buddy. We did ‘brave the elements’ to run a few errands, but I’m thankful that we have that choice and were not forced out if we’d rather stay home. Have I mentioned how much I love my job??

Yesterday we broke out the Little People Nativity Set…
I should have known that it would be a difficult toy for this OCD mother who likes things to look correct! ha! I’m sure someday Asher will enjoy setting it up at Christmas… until then I just hope we don’t lose the donkey or Baby Jesus!
