and all God’s people said…

AMEN!

While I was getting Asher’s lunch ready today I was thinking about different people on my heart and decided to stop and pray.  I prayed out loud and when I was finishing I peeked at Asher who had also stopped what he was doing, folded his hands, and bowed his head! :)  Sweet little boy, it about melted my heart!  Of course we ended with a very hearty, “AMEN!”  (Asher’s favorite part!)

I asked him later what we do when we pray and he did this for me so I took a quick shot on my phone. 

We are experiencing a case of “Cabin Fever” in our house today!  I’m fighting a cold and Asher’s still not 100% from his ear infection and while he can get pretty hyped up chasing the dog or playing with his toys he melts down and gets really tired quickly.  As a result we’ve been staying home a lot lately… but I think we both feel like the walls are starting to close in on us. :)

I told Chris I wasn’t ready for winter to be over until we had one REALLY big snowstorm… the kind to cancel school and shut us in at home.  Well, I’ve OFFICIALLY recanted that statement and am indeed ready for spring.  :)  Forget the winter blues – I think it’s the winter germs that’s making me crave warmer weather!!  ha!
