My poor boy has a nasty combo of getting his 2 year molars AND we think he’s caught “whatever” is floating around. So today was a very sad day with lots of tears, drooling, a runny nose, fevers, and overall clingy-ness. I can’t completely complain because I don’t remember the last time my very busy boy just sat in my lap and snuggled as much as he did today! He actually fell asleep on me twice which hasn’t happened since he was a baby! I am hoping those darn teeth will just pop through so at least he’s not battling both things. I don’t think there are many things harder than watching your kids be sick. It is days like today that remind me how blessed we are with an overall healthy child!
On a bright note it was gloriously beautiful here today. I think it hit the mid-70s!! I opened the windows and we even switched on the air for a while this evening when the house felt too stuffy. Asher perked up when I took him outside in the sunshine so we spent a little bit of time out there drawing with chalk, running around in the grass, and just breathing in the fresh air!! I grabbed the camera for a few shots of this rare, but gorgeous March-weather.
SO hoping my little boy is back to his happy, healthy-self SOON!
