30 weeks & a life lately…

I’m officially thirty weeks today!  Phew!  Something about hitting the 30’s makes it all seem very real and very imminent.

30wks

I’m sure the next 8-10 weeks will FLY by and baby brother will be in our arms in no time.  The poor child still doesn’t have a name… but I think we’re getting closer.  :)  I am thankful for a continued easy pregnancy!  Other than just feeling uncomfortable when sitting or laying down I can’t complain!!

I don’t know about you all, but I TOTALLY set my alarm for 4 am (ok 3:55) and got up for the Royal Festivities!!  When I realized the good stuff wasn’t starting for another hour and a half I went back to bed until 5:30.  I clicked on the TV just in time to see Kate exit the hotel and her procession to the church.  I loved ALL of it.  Asher slept through the wedding, but woke up during the carriage ride to Buckingham Palace so I quickly got him up and told him we had to hurry so we could go see the prince and princess kiss.  (The countdown was under 10 minutes so we didn’t have time to dilly dally.)  He sat with me and enjoyed all the horses and of course, the military fly-over.  It was fun to have someone to watch it with!  :)  He eventually hopped down and sat on the floor so I snapped a few pictures of him watching the Royal Wedding because I’m SURE he’ll want to know that he watched it someday…

I just saw on the news that we’ve had the 4th wettest April on record here in Indiana and I BELIEVE IT!  It has rained and rained and rained.  It’s hard to complain about the weather in light of all the tornado tragedies down south, so I’ll just say I’m SO thankful that the rain has stopped (for the time being) the sun is out, and it’s supposed to be warm tomorrow!  Such a lift for the spirits!  Yesterday, even though it was super muddy and still a bit cool, I took Asher out to enjoy the sun.  He was squealing with excitement.  We’ve OBVIOUSLY been cooped up for too long!

That is one MUDDY little boy!

Last night we tried out the bath coloring tablets that were in Asher’s Easter basket. We started with red and added a blue, getting purple!  He wasn’t sure of what to think at first, but he eventually thought it was pretty cool!

It’s hard to believe it’s almost MAY!  Happy Spring!
