We made a quick trip up to Michigan to celebrate Easter with my parents. We were thankful to be able to make it up there this weekend since we might not be back until later this summer after little brother’s arrival. :) We left rainy Indianapolis and were greeted by a SUNNY and (almost) warm weekend in Michigan… who would have thought?! :)
Sunday Morning Asher quickly got the hang of searching for his eggs and experienced his first marshmallow peep. He also had fun searching for his basket which my mom and I crammed full of goodies last night!
Not so sure what to think of the Peep!
We filled Asher’s eggs with chocolate and chocolate chip bunny crackers, peeps, and bunny marshmallows. He was a big fan!
Asher’s basket had lots of DVD’s, a book, bubbles, crackers, bath color tablets, cars, and some more sweets!
Checking out his loot and showing it all to Daddy!
After all the egg hunting we went to church and enjoyed worshipping our Risen Savior!
…And of course, Nana prepared a yummy Easter lunch for us!
We’re back home now and amazed at all the plants that seemed to have burst forth while we were gone… I guess ALL the rain has been good for a few things!!
I LOVE my lilacs!!
Thank you, Jesus for not only dying on the cross, but RISING again! Hallelujah, what a Savior!
