IKEA to the rescue!

Our house has a little playroom/family room of the kitchen which we LOVE!  It’s where we spend 90% if our day and over time it’s turned into toy-central.  Our first attempt at organization was using bins and stacking things in the corner.  We knew that after Christmas our toy inventory was going to go up so we started to shop around for some type of storage unit.  There are lots of really cute (and expensive) storage compartments on the market, but we couldn’t beat the price of IKEA’s Trofast unit!!

Here is a before shot of the playroom post-Christmas toy explosion and while Chris was building the IKEA unit: TOTAL CHAOS!

Of course we still have daily chaos… :)

But it’s nice to know that at the end of the day everything can go back in it’s (new) spot!
